Stay. Practice. Transform.

Seasonal immersions exploring yogic philosophy, meditation and traditional practices drawn from the lineage of Anahata Yoga.
For 4 days we return to the intelligence of Water & Air- Softening the body, expanding the breath, find the calm beneath the chaos.

With over six decades of dedicated practice and teaching, Peter Clifford carries one of the longest living traditions of Anahata Yoga in the world.
Also known by his spiritual name Premananda, Peter is an Anahata Yogi whose path was shaped through direct transmission from his teacher Shankara, within the Anahata Yoga lineage originating in Assam, India. Through this lineage he has spent a lifetime immersed in the deeper practices of yoga, meditation and yogic philosophy.
Peter is a master teacher of the Five Element Form (Tattwa Shuddhi Sadhana) — an ancient purification practice that harmonises the elements of the body, breath and consciousness.
After decades of international teaching, Peter has now retired from travelling and resides in Byron Bay, where he quietly continues to share his knowledge and guidance from Shiva & Shakti Yoga, his studio sanctuary in Suffolk Park.

Faye Maramara is a dedicated apprentice of Peter Clifford in the Anahata Yoga tradition, studying closely under his guidance for over five years. Through this apprenticeship she continues to receive the living wisdom of a direct yogic lineage passed down through Peter’s teacher and decades of practice.
Faye is also a practicing Nada Yogi (the yoga of sound), exploring the transformative power of vibration through mantra, chanting and sacred sound. She finds particular joy in playing her crystal bowls and the harmonium, guiding devotional chanting as a pathway to inner stillness.
Her teaching reflects both depth and warmth. Faye brings a light-hearted yet sincere presence to her classes, offering a strong, dynamic and therapeutic asana practice supported by breath, awareness and devotion.
WHETHER YOU ARE BEGINNING YOUR JOURNEY IN YOGA OR DEEPENING A LIFELONG PRACTICE, YOU ARE WARMLY WELCOMED INTO THIS SPACE OF LEARNING, DEVOTION AND QUIET TRANSFORMATION.
